Sports Day

We have enjoyed another year of successful sports days. Our sincere thanks to all the staff, children and spectators who make these events so worthwhile. The Nursery and Reception class children showed true determination and continued on to the finish. Even the rain couldn’t stop play! Year 1 and Year 2 Sports Day was successfully rearranged and the sun shone on all their efforts. Hurrah! It was lovely to see the children being active, enjoying taking part in all the races and the athletics activities on the playground. This year for the first time we introduced a relay race for our Year 2 classes. This was a great success, the excellent coaching and practise really paid off. We will certainly continue with this next year. All the children should be very proud of themselves, we certainly are and our thanks once again go to all the parents, carers, grandparents and friends who came out in both the sunshine and rain to support the children.
