All meals are prepared in our own kitchen by our Catering Team, Pabulum and meet the nutritional guidelines of the Food Standards Agency.

Hamstel Infant School - Pabulum Ltd was awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good)

by Southend-on-Sea City Council on 16thNovember 2022.

Under the Government scheme, Universal Infant Free School Meals, all children in our Reception Year, Year 1 and Year 2 receive a free school meal, our current menu is below. For children with specific dietary needs identified by a nutritionist Pabulum will provide a specialised menu based on that available for all children. Further information can be provided by the school office. We do not have facilities for storing packed lunches.
