Clubs

We provide a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs and activities for the children before school, at lunchtime and after school.

Outside Providers:

Extra-curricular before and after school clubs provision is run by established outsider providers Premier Education and Bricks4Kidz. The provider offers a range of opportunities including sporting and theatrical activities and a LEGO club to choose from:

Clubs run by Hamstel

Our staff also offer extra-curricular clubs for the children at Hamstel after school and at lunch times throughout the year. The after school clubs run by Hamstel Staff are offered for the ‘whole term’ to allocated year groups, with the exception of Singing and Dance Clubs, where we will ask the children to commit for the year due to participating in outside school events. We rotate our offers to other year groups as we journey through the academic year. You will be notified of the new offers in time for the new term.

As a school we try very hard to keep our ‘Hamstel’ Clubs free but where there is a small fee this is to cover the cost of additional resources needed. We endeavor to keep this as low as possible. Most of our lunch time clubs will be more fluid with children choosing to attend during their school day.

Some clubs may be run by invitation for inter school sporting events or events such as the Dance Festival or Music Festival.

Spring Club Offer

Please note there is a charge for all these clubs and payment is to be made direct to the providers. You will be notified when the clubs are live for booking.

Daily Breakfast Club

Our ‘Munchies’ Breakfast Club' is run by Ms Phillips and Mrs Collard and operates daily from 7.45am in the large Children’s Centre Room. Entrance to the Club is through the main front entrance along Hamstel Road and through the automatic double doors.

The costs for attending this club is £3.50 daily. This includes a varied breakfast menu offering the children as much as they want to eat as well as supervision from 7.45am until the children are escorted to their classrooms for the start of the school day. Sessions for Breakfast Club must be booked and paid for in advance using ParentPay.

Breakfast Club bookings must be made via ParentPay.

After School Club

Our Daily Extended After School Club, is also held in the large Children’s Centre Room at the front of the school. Please collect your child from the main front entrance along Hamstel Road and through the automatic double doors.

The Club operates daily from 3.00pm to 5.45pm. Children in both Hamstel Infant School and children in Hamstel Nursery are able to attend our After School Club.

There is also a session for families who need child care after attending a school club i.e. 4.15 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. After School Club is a charged service for any children attending Hamstel Infant School and Hamstel Nursery, booking is via ParentPay only and must be in advance.

The fees applicable for our After School Club are listed below and are reviewed annually.

Children from Nursery / Reception / Year 1 / Year 2
3:20 pm – 5:45 pm option: £11 per session (including Tea)
3:20 pm – 4:30 pm option: £7 per session (no Tea will be provided)

4.15pm - 5.45pm option: £7 per session (including a light tea) – for those attending a club first
